The simple answer to this question is whichever one you play the best with. Scientific tests seem to go one way one week and another the next. All of the big name companies are pretty close though. I would advise getting one that matches your irons in look and feel, it will give you more confidence. Some of those different looking wedges like you see on tv seem to work well for a lot of the higher handicap golfers and are very forgiving. There's some of the NGC golf ones at www.scorebettergolf.com if you wanted to see there take on the wedge issue

Check out Solus wedges. They are the easiest to hit wedges on the market. If you're having trouble with your current wedges, Solus clubs will be much easier to hit.

As far as the other answers i agree to the point where Cleveland and the CG series are very solid wedges especially for fuller shots (hence PW or AW) they used to be made out of Carbon Metal Matrix (or CMM...increase in carbon) material which enhances feel. Actually a new way to get forged-like feel from a cast club. Not sure if this is still the material they use on CG11, 12 or 14 As for shorter shots, Pitches, Chips or Bump and Run shots i agree that nothing comes close to Vokeys Feel and response of the club if struck properly...not as heavy as your average wedge but gives better distance control. Hope this helps...hit em straight
